Both interviews sucked today. I don't have anything else to say aboot that, other then thank God for Taking Back Sunday.
Poker on the other hand went well. I placed 4th out of ten people playing. Unfortunately only 1st, 2nd, and 3rd got paid - but I still did a lot better than I was expecting. S had me drive last night, which was different because S usually doesn??™t want anyone else to drive. The joke was that it'd work out better for me, because after I get knocked out first I can dump him off on L and go home. Instead L was the first one to get knocked out and S placed second. Fun times.
I might have plans tonight. Definitely have plans on Tuesday and Friday.
Oh, and I have an audition for a TV show on Wednesday. I e-mailed them as a goof, but they called me back. Here's the info on it:
AMC is looking for men and women -- 20s to 50s, all ethnicities, all body types -- for their tongue -in-cheek look at the reality-dating genre, DATE NIGHT. Although they play it straight, this is NOT a real dating show. We use actors and ''real people'' who love movies in a semi-scripted format. Each week, AMC picks an eligible movie lover (actor or non-pro) to be their ''on-air host.'' The host will chat about movies with fellow movie lovers of the opposite sex during commercial breaks (up to 8 per movie). After each chat, the host reveals their thoughts about each candidate in a candid aside to camera. In the final break of the movie, the host picks his or her favorite as their ''Movie Match'' and both are rewarded with a $100 bonus and small prize.
Movies are fun and conversation provoking. The tone of the wraps is smart, light and conversational. The look is sophisticated and modern.
Want to hear from you if you are charismatic, altogether interesting and LOVE MOVIES. You should have a good sense of humor and strong opinions about LIFE and MOVIES and not be afraid to express them on tv.
